I like this – I keep looking at it. I think I grasp the big picture- maybe – but the “settling in” door – is that a window transom at the top? I like that – light in during the day and light beaming out at night -oh and moonlight maybe coming in at night?
It is a window at the top, MJ, and it does exactly what you suggest. It lets in the light, to softly illuminate, cast new shadows, create new meanings and memories. . It lets the inner glow reach out and change the world. Like eyes, in a way.
I think, for me anyway, the more personal and heartfelt it is, the more angsty it feels to put it out there….but those are usually the pieces people relate to most. I know I did with this piece, and I thank you for being courageous!
