There’s chemistry between you and me
That is not new news.

When first we met
Combustion!
We each could amaze and amuse.

Time passed
We explored one another’s terrains
Our workings, both outer and inner.

We shared adventures
No need to constrain
Multifaceted – both saint and sinner.

Geologist, psychologist, enthrall-o-gist
We two
Research ~ verify ~ support
Love grew.

Always with synced biological clocks
For decades we’ve aged together.
Somewhat eroded, completely refined
Seasoned vessels that withstood the weather

They’re wondrous, these landscapes
Both yours, Love, and mine
Discovery ever the pleasure

Despite physics, gravity
Still mighty fine!

*The Good Husband hung these wonderful lights across our back garden last year. I took this photo yesterday afternoon while the 3 doxies and I did, indeed, lounge on a red knitted blanket thrown onto the lawn. It was a divine bit of time.
