Revised to: “Forward 1-10″ thanks to Old Egg, who contributed the new final line

Go
forward
lest you find
you’re left behind
because not going
is the same as choosing
to fall back, lose ground, decline
Evolve. Devolve. Seems you have a choice.
“There you go, you are a success aren’t you?”
*inspired by Sunday Scribblings ~ Forward

propeling altered paradigms

*inspired by Robert Lee Brewer at Poetic Asides and One Single Impression
The hay(na)ku is a 3-line poem: ~ First line has one word  ~ Second line has two words  ~ Third line has three words

In the early morning
as most the world yet sleeps
the vital
stands at the forefront
validates importance
dares
to kiss the day into motion.
Take heed.

a tanka, cousin to haiku…
Plant well-chosen seeds
to alter society.
Respect, accept, love.
Nurtured fruits will bloom and grow.
Reap and share. Enjoy. Resow.

Look upon the pleated, ne’er depleted, green fan palm.

Consider this:

It never gives a thought

To folds or wrinkles,

Dusts of gray.

It always heeds to breezes

Throws it’s arms back

Starts to sway.

I’m thinking we have a lot to learn.

Next?

Ponder the fern…
